My clutch when out on me right before I got on the freeway today. I had a choice to call a tow truck, or try an auto mechanic(I had never used an auto mechanic before). Rolling the dice I decided to give Ward's a shot.It was the correct decision, as not only did Mr. Ward and son get to me quick, but they also had me back on the road so I could make it back to work in no time! I couldn't believe how fast it took, and he and his son were very friendly and professional. If you want a fast, affordable, and professional job done the same day, then give these guys a call.

I was seriously considering purchasing a car that is in Houston and I live in Denver. I needed to find a trusted mechanic in Houston to take a look at the car for me and make an assessment of the vehicle and report back to me so I could decide whether or not to close the deal. Of course, I have been in communications with the Sales guy and everything was reported as good. All the pictures that they sent to me looked awesome!! Just based on the pictures, this was a great deal and I was very excited to close this deal and get this car. I found Eric and Josh at Wards Mobile Mechanic and arranged for them to do a pre-purchase inspection for me. Both of them were extremely responsive, very matter of fact and to the point. They were able to inspect the vehicle promptly and once Eric arrived at the dealership, the pictures and text messages began to show up. Eric found and reported several items to me - some minor but he uncovered a couple of potentially major issues. Awesome communications and a very thorough inspection!! So glad I found Wards Mobile Mechanic!! They saved me from making a deal I would have regretted and I consider hiring them money VERY well spent - potentially saved me a TON Highly recommend these guys!!
Ward and Josh were called to work on my car and motorcycle. Having never had a mobile mechanic - it was the BEST EXPERIENCE I could have had. - Ward is BY FAR the most knowledgeable mechanic I have met. - Plus, he will educate you and tell you anything you need to know about your vehicle. - Both are polite, organized, have a strong work ethic and are VERY fair in their pricing. (If tattoos bother you, just look past them.) - Ward is a smart, polite, kind person, - If you have something with a motor - these men can fix it - quickly, in a clean and quick manner! I am very happy to have found my new mechanics.
It doesn't get better than this. Extremely knowledgeable, kind, humble, and honest. On top of that they come to you--even after I laid down the scooter right after they fixed it haha! Bottom line, if you want the job done right go with these guys. It is a good peace of mind mechanics like them are still around. No regrets here.

Eric came to my house when he said he would..and was very flexible on timing. He is very knowledgeable about all and any motor or engine. He and his son are professional, clean and friendly. They worked on my Triumph motorcycle and completely removed and rebuilt the carbs. Cleaned and, best of all, did not replace anything that didn't "need replacing". I will tell you from previous experience that dealerships and brick and mortar repair shops will almost always sell you parts that are unnecessary. i.e. jets, some gaskets, floats, etc. all can be cleaned and scrubbed effectively w/o replacement. As someone who is interested in mechanical anything, i watched the entire process. It was extensive and was obvious they know their stuff. Also after reassembly it still wasn't getting fuel. Eric removed everything again and was, somehow, able to find a minuscule piece of debris, remnant of my anti-rust fuel tank coating, that had somehow got into the fuel line etc. He found it and showed it to me, then it started like the day i bought it. Pricing is comparable to brick and mortar shop but when you exclude the cost of towing it ends up being cheaper in my case. Also not having the time or hassle of having to wait for parts and the convenience of having it done at your home,... it's a "no brainer".

Fast, fair and friendly! Eric and Josh came when they said they would. They had my car up and running quickly and for less than I would have paid at a mechanic shop. Excellent service, reliable, and timely. I've used Wards Mobile Mechanic three times, and they were incredible. They checked out my van after it had been in high water and assured me my van was just fine...and it was. Another occasion, they checked out my radiator, replaced it on the spot, and all is well. A third visit was for the A.C. and it needed a new fan belt. They even offer phone consults. My O2 sensor was on the blink, and they suggested I have Auto Zone to a diagnostic for free, and I was able to find out what I needed repaired. This is such a convenient and reliable mechanic. You won't be disappointed...and reasonably priced, too!
Same day service, showed up on time and fully prepared, diagnosed the problem in under 5 minutes, then drove to pick up the necessary parts and installed them in just under 2.5 hours. I couldn't have asked for any better service! Mobile service was especially helpful because the car would have overheated had I tried to drive it anywhere, and I would have spent more time and money getting it towed to a garage. Although I was worried about how the driveway would look when they were finished I was very pleasantly surprised to see they completely cleaned the area of old parts and avoided spilling any fluids in the process. I highly recommend Ward's Mobile Mechanic!

This was my first time using a mobile mechanic. Once the mechanic arrived, he made quick work of the job and had me back on the road in no time. very professional service. these guys are awesome. came on time did the job. i paid the fee however what he thought was the problem wasnt actually it. my car stopped later that day. he came out immediately when i called him. he gave me a full refund, diagnosed again i eventually had to take it to the dealership since he didnt provide the service i needed. trustworthy guy. we have used him 3 times in the past. he never disappoints.
Very satisfied with service . replaced a rear cv axel on my Honda Element , allowed me to go get my parts and save some money I highly recomend and will be calling them again in the future

I can barely find the right words to say how awesome Eric is. His reviews on cars were amazing to read and what encouraged me to call but he worked on my new Harley Davidson exhaust system like it was second nature. I found out quickly that he is a jack of all trades. Highly recommend for motorcycle issues. He was on time, courteous, taught me a little something and had me roaring down the road in no time. Water pump went out in my truck, and Eric showed up fast with all of the parts needed to get the job done and quick. He even stuck around after the the pump was replaced to ensure that everything was working right. Very cool guy that knows what he's doing at a good price. Definitely would recommend him to anyone else in need of any kind of repairs.

Great experience with this mechanic. He came to us, knew what he was doing and had an A/C compressor (and a couple other a/c parts) installed in no time at all. No problem with explaining things as he worked and his pricing is fair. Nice guy too. Can't ask for any better than that.

Summary: Terrific!!!!! Details: Eric came to my Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 even though I offered to bring it to him. He replaced the master cylinders for the front and rear brakes. He arrived early, not just on time. He used the parts I had previously purchased - a rear master cylinder with linkage and a front master cylinder kit. He permitted me to watch and ask questions while he worked. After he finished the work, he patiently adjusted the cradle for the front master cylinder and front brake lever several times for my hands, grip and feel. Between adjustments, he requested that I take a ride to determine if it felt right since that is extremely important. I truly appreciated his patience and consideration. I have a front tire I am ordering for him to change now that I found someone I can trust. (I tried a local dealership but I felt they were attempting to scam me. I have been looking for someone with something different to offer - and Eric does - quality with reasonableness!) I will definitely recommend him to my friends. Steve

My motorcycle's wiring harness was messed up causing the FI light to come on and wouldn't start...he came out here in no time and had me running within minutes. Wards Mobile Mechanic is the way to go. My a/c went out the Tuesday before hurricane Harvey. As you know we can't be without A/C in Houston. Due to the circumstances surrounding the hurricane I was not able to find a mechanic to even look at my car without leaving it at their shop for days. Well Eric Ward came out to my job on Thursday 9/7 and once we got the part had it fixed that Monday 9/11. I am very happy with his prices and the convenience of having him come to my car to fix the problem. Thank you again Eric!
Great great service. Called about my motorcycle carburetor and he was there the next day. In an hour and half had it cleaned and put back together. Bike runs better today than it has since I got it. If you have a motorcycle repair need call this guy.

They are pricey, however they are beyond knowlegable in their field. I’ve taken my car to about 4 different mechanics and I never saw any results. The issue was resolved in a day and I am extremely satisfied with their service. Highly recommend!!

My friend, an 87 year old disabled Korean war vet who can't use the internet, asked me to post for him. He had struggled with his car for weeks but was lost and asked me to find someone to help. I gave hime this number, and Eric came out that same day, charged a VERY reasonable price, and fixed the car so it ran beautifully. It had something to do with a fan belt, timing chain; whatever it was, my friend said this guy really knew his stuff. He was courteous and prompt and very respectful, and my friend can't stop talking about him to everyone he knows. Eric responded to my emergency call for water pouring out from under my RV. He came when he said he would and he also kept me apprised of his progress as the repairs were being made. After the initial leak was repaired, it was discovered that the hot water heater was not working properly. He came back with a new hot water heater, installed it, checked to make sure it was working properly and even billed the RV dealer that had made the "repairs" originally, which caused the damage and ruined the water heater. He and his secretary were polite and easy to deal with. You will surely get my recommendation! Thanks!
If you are a woman fed up with the condescending jerks who treat you like an idiot and overcharge you, or just make you uncomfortable and suspicious that you're being taken advantage of, rest assured that this place will NOT do that to you. I'd heard good things about Wards Mobile Mechanic --good work, reasonable prices, dependable service-- so I gave them a call on a late Friday afternoon, just to see what they would quote me for fixing my van doors. The next morning, Saturday, Eric was there, and even though I'd bought the wrong parts, he figured out the problem and started working right away. I'd been quoted a thousand dollars for the work by a predatory mechanic and another one said the parts (which only HE could order) would be five hundred. But not only did Eric fix my door cables in my own front yard, he charged me less than some tow trucks would have just for taking it to some strange shop. Above that, he was courteous, respectful, and very kind about my ignorance; he explained it so even I could understand what he was doing. Bottom line: if you're a woman living alone or without a mechanically inclined partner, you can trust Wards Mobile Mechanic to come to your house, fix your car right, charge you a more-than-fair price, and not give you a lot of b.s. while doing it.

These guys are AMAZING!!! I had a blow out on my way to Houston, when I arrived at RV Park I realized my gas line was damaged. Even though they were totally booked he came after hours because the temperature was dropping tonight. He repaired it in no time and was very friendly and professional. I will use them again for anything I need repaired. He comes to you and less expensive than a repair shop!

Very friendly people, called them on Friday and was at my house by Saturday. They worked on my 2007 Honda cbr explaining what he was doing and showing me how to do it. Definitely recommend, I won't be using any other mechanic besides Wards Mobile. Good work and fast, also good prices.
I called first thing this morning and left a message. I had a return call within a couple hours and they were at my house a couple hours later. He went right to work after discussing my issue, I was unable to get my truck to crank. I have new starter, solenoid, rebuilt engine new cables, it was beyond my confidence level. Eric had my truck cranking within 15 minutes and he fixed a couple of other small issues he found. Super happy with his service and work quality!!!!!! Call him he is well worth it.

I called the night before, came out 8am the next day. The entire A/C system had to be replaced and was done before my wife got home at 2pm. They aren't cheap, but good work never is. I'd do business with them again. I have a 2yr parts/6 month labor warranty.
I had Ward come work on my 22 year old motorhome with low miles which 3 other shade tree mechanics told me I must replace the spark plugs which were super difficult to get to, because of age and was needing to take a 1000 mile trip and he checked out plugs and showed them to me and they looked good and said there designed for 100 thousand miles and had other concerns about break booster, belts, hoses and other smaller things which inspected and thoroughly and patiently explained to where I could understand and to top this all off this was a few days before hurricane Harvey show up. I also had a couple of questions on my 1000 mile trip and he also called me back in a timely matter, so for me with out doubt two thumbs up. James G.

I called Wards Mobile Mechanic yesterday morning regarding my Harley Ultra Classic which had bad gas due to my neglect. Eric was here about 4 hours after I called, Drained the old gas, replaced the injectors. Very friendly and knowledgeable at a very fair price. I highly recommend them.
